2nd GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS COMPETITION 2023 IS ORGANIZED BY THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION – ART FEST, BASED IN EUROPE

GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS COMPETITION  promotes a high quality of music performances from all over the world. It supports and motivates pianists of different expertise, ages and nationalities and encouraged them to build a worldwide recognized professional career.

GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS COMPETITION appears to be one of the most prestigious and the world’s largest piano competitions in terms of the number of contestants, with more than 360 candidates from 50 countries and all continents of the world on the 1st edition of the competition 2021.

With high respect, we like to thank all of You who applied to the 1st GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS COMPETITION and especially for the winners who had their performances on the Grand Ceremony Concert and their Recitals at the GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS FESTIVAL in Macedonia in 2022.

The aim of the organization is to hold a highest international professional level, to inspire pianists and audiences a-like stimulating interest in the piano and music in general, to provide a platform to showcase outstanding pianists from around the world and assist in developing their careers. 

The piano competition is entirely online, but the Grand Ceremony concert of winners of categories will be held in LIVE in N. Macedonia on GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS FESTIVAL. Selected winners will have an opportunity to have their own RECITAL on the festival.

All pianists are welcome to apply. Participants are required to submit free video recording material. Deadline for applications is  February 25th 2023. This is very motivational and friendly competition for all young piano talents.

Awards are not limited. It means that multiple pianists can share First, Second, Third places and honorable mentions. Also, there is a cash prize, plaques, medals, opportunities for recitals, participation on Golden piano Talents Festival and Grand Ceremony concert, gifts and many special awards and masterclasses with great pianists. (Award details are mentioned below)

All teachers will receive diplomas for extraordinary pedagogy achievement and the best will be invited to be in the jury on next edition.

All winners of Golden Grand prizes (100 points) and selected winners of Grand prizes (98-100 points) are invited to perform on the Golden Grand Ceremony Concert in N. Macedonia in  September 2023. It will be held in a beautiful “Bezisten” hall in Shtip, which is an acoustical art gallery hall built in the 16th century. The Grand concert will be a part of the Golden Piano Talents Festival 2023.

All pianists who participate at the Grand Ceremony concert on GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS FESTIVAL in Macedonia will be awarded medals, certificates, plaques, and gifts from sponsors.

The Laureate of all categories will receive a cash prize, opportunity for a recital, medal, gifts and a plaque at the Festival Ceremony concert.

The teachers play an integral role of the winner success, and therefore are also invited.

Selected winners will have an opportunity for their own RECITAL.

GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS  FESTIVAL is an International festival that offers a multitude of musical experiences for young pianists. It includes recitals of young pianists, master classes with eminent pianists and GRAND CEREMONY CONCERT of winners of GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS COMPETITION. Baby category – born 2015 and younger – free program, max 5 min.

Pre category – born 2014 – free program, max 7 min (for Piano Lovers discipline – only one composition is needed)

First category – born 2012 & 2013 –  free program, max 8 min (for Piano Lovers discipline – only one composition is needed)

Second category – born 2010 & 2011  – free program, max 10 min (for Piano Lovers discipline – only one composition is needed)

Third category – born 2008 & 2009 –  free program, max. 12  minutes

Fourth category – born 2006 & 2007 – free program, max. 14 minutes

SENIOR Categories:

Fifth category – born 2004 & 2005 – free program, max. 15 minutes

Sixth category – born  2003 and  2002 – free program, max. 18 minutes.

Seventh category – 2001 and older – free program, max 20 minutes.


CHAMBER MUSIC

Chamber music category is for 4 – hands piano, 6-hands piano, duo, trio, etc including piano.
Category is determined by the age of the oldest pianist.
Program for Chamber music is free.
Competitors can play with scores.

STUDENT – PROFESSOR

Student soloist and teacher on piano secondo or concert backtrack.
Category is determined by student’s age
Program for Student – Professor is free.
Competitors can play with scores.

VIDEOS:

  • The program is performed by memory (except chamber music and student-professor)
  • Recorded video should be attached on YouTube or Bilibili in the option UNLISTED or PUBLIC.
  • Title on YouTube link: “GOLDEN PIANO TALENTS COMPETITION, name of competitor and country”
  • Description on YouTube or Bilibili link: Category and program.
  • Videos recorded 2022 and 2023 are accepted.
  • Whole program should be on one video, but also separate links are accepted. The recording can be cut between movements and pieces, but not during the pieces.
  • Golden Piano Talents Competition can publish all competitor Video material with option PUBLIC on its web site and social media.
